These centers, coupled with education and health screenings, are powerful tools designed to help CSX build a strong and healthy workforce.

The center, located in the Baltimore office on Hollins Ferry Road, contains over 50 pieces of state-of-the-art fitness equipment. The new center is just 1 of 20 centers that CSX is opening to promote health and wellness amongst their 33,000 employees.

"This center serves as a part of the commitment that CSX is making to enhance employee health by providing a means for people to achieve their health and fitness goals," said CSX's Director of Health and Wellness, Ken Glover. "These centers, coupled with education and health screenings, are powerful tools designed to help CSX build a strong and healthy workforce."

Each new wellness center features a variety of equipment, from cardio to free weights. Many of the centers are staffed with certified personal trainers and/or dietitians who are available to help employees achieve their health and wellness goals.

This year, CSX has opened wellness centers in Indianapolis, IN; New Orleans, LA; Cumberland, MD; Baltimore, MD; and Selkirk, NY. There are plans to open wellness centers in Hamlet, NC; Nashville, TN; and Walbridge, OH sometime later this year or early 2009.
