After 26 years of commuting to work, I did the ultimate. I moved downtown, sold my second car and started walking to work. My commute is now a 6 block walk to my home - 10-15 minutes (depending on traffic). Other benefits include no more weekend yard work and killer sunsets from the 7th floor. Although my current assignment has me commuiting to Southpoint, I still get to walk to work a couple of times a week.
