Jerry's blood pressure went from hypertensive to normal, his cholesterol is healthy, and he has increased his life expectancy.

I’m living proof of the old saying, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” As a CSX employee, I have taken advantage of the company’s Health and Wellness program of which some opportunities include yearly health screenings with personal counseling, flu shots, and exercise facilities at select locations. The program also offers pedometers with comparable statistics fed into a main database so each employee can compare his progress.

In conjunction with my personal physician’s advice, the CSX program has benefitted me personally – my blood pressure went from hypertensive to normal, my cholesterol is healthy, and I have increased my life expectancy. I would gladly compare our program with any other large company. I am proof of CSX’s concern and action for its employees and families’ health and wellness.
