SMITH The Kids' Play Place in the Park is a brand new Tot-Lot – a one of a kind play place just for children 5 and younger which opened in August 2009. Made possible with funding from CSX, other corporations, individuals and foundations, the Tot-Lot is the size of four tennis courts and contains more than 20 pieces of play equipment – everything from a pirate ship to swings. The state-of-the-art accessible play space has been receiving rave reviews from children and caregivers and welcomes more than 100 littles one each day.

SMITH's facilities include a 6.5 acre playground and a playhouse.

SMITH, a non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, is dedicated to providing young children with unique, safe and free play experiences. SMITH's facilities include the 6.5 acre playground (the Tot-Lot, the Ann Newman Giant Wooden Slide, Swing City – also funded in part by CSX – and more) and the Playhouse, a three floor mansion full of toys and trikes just for children 5 and under. For more information about SMITH visit www.smithkidsplayplace.org.

SMITH is very gratedful to CSX for its continuing support and urges all of CSX to come and play!
