Biking in Mexico City

I live in Mexico City and traffic here is a killer. A ten mile drive can take up to an hour and a half and I live about 12 miles from the office. I recently decided to buy a bicycle to ride to and from the office. You might think in a city with almost five million cars (yes, five million cars on the streets) this may be considered an "extreme sport." But to my surprise, the drivers have been very thoughtful and decent.

I now make it to work in 30 minutes. I get to the gym, clean up and then walk to the office only three blocks away. With this commute, I exercise, save gas and time, and I relax on the way home.
