On March 2, 2012, a massive tornado ripped through Henryville, Indiana. The tornado destroyed the 493 buildings, including many churches and the Henryville Elementary, Middle and High School buildings. Many of the people of Henryville had a difficult time making ends meet before the storm.
These last 21 days have been difficult for our community, but good people have risen up to meet the need. Dignity U Wear donated over $1M in brand new children’s clothing and needed it shipped to our location. CSX was able to make it happen. We can’t thank you enough for what you did and what this means to us. CSX is about people; about people serving people. To the folks who made the decision to allow this, down to the people loading the truck and the driver who made the journey from Cincinatti, THANK YOU!
