CSX and FFA have partnered on FFA's Living to Serve Grant Series, which is available to FFA chapters (middle school, high school or Alumni) and state FFA Associations/ Foundations to support service engagement activities.
Living to Serve grant funding support diverse service focus areas that include Community Safety; Environmental Responsibility; Hunger, Health and Nutrition; and Community Engagement. Grants are available for projects based on duration and focus area:
- Yearlong: Provides middle/high school FFA chapters with up to $3,000 to support a service-learning project that spans an entire school year.
- Semester-long: Provides middle/high school FFA chapters with up to $1,200 per semester to implement a service-learning project in their community for one semester.
- Day of Service Mini-Grants: Provides alumni or middle/high school chapters with up to $400 to conduct a one-time service event.
